Terms and Conditions
Medical Aesthetics Academy’s training courses are available exclusively to physicians and dentists who have obtained their degrees from recognised universities/colleges, and must be currently licensed by their official registration bodies. The right of access to all training courses provided by Medical Aesthetics Academy is given to the person whose details were entered when making the booking. When booking on behalf of a third party, the applicant’s data should be entered in the registration application. The applicant accepts responsibility for all activities that occur under a booking in his/her name.
Booking our training courses
We reserve the right to reject the application if the applicant does not pass the verification by Medical Aesthetics Academy of professional and / or personal registration data. The applicant will be entitled to a full refund, minus an administration fee of £25.
To confirm any booking, a payment in advance of the full cost of the course, courses or services will be required. Payments must be made by bank transfer or PayPal.
Note: Medical Aesthetics Academy reserves the right to cancel the training activities or modify the date of its implementation due to insufficient bookings (with no less than fifteen days before the date of the call), or for major reasons (at any time). In these circumstances, Medical Aesthetics Academy will return to the applicants the full amount paid by the applicant.
Cancellations and Refunds
(A) Cancellation of bookings by Medical Aesthetics Academy
Medical Aesthetics Academy reserves the right to cancel a training course due to insufficient number of bookings or other circumstances that would make the training course not viable.
In the event that Medical Aesthetics Academy cancels a training course, a full refund will be offered to the applicants.
If circumstances arise that result in the postponement of a training course, Medical Aesthetics Academy will have the right to offer a full refund or transfer the booking of the same training course to a new future date.
(B) Cancellation of booking by the delegate
Unless specifically indicated in the booking information, the deadline to receive a full refund of the reservation is 40 working days before the date of the training course. Cancellations received before the deadline may receive a full refund, minus a £25 administration fee.
Cancellations received after the deadline but 20 working days before the date of the training course may receive a 50% refund.
Cancellations received within 20 business days, but more than 10 business days before the date of the training course may receive a refund of 25%.
Cancellations of registration received within 10 days of the date of the training course will not be eligible for a refund.
No reimbursement will be offered for applicants who decide not to attend the training course.
Cancellations will be accepted in writing only to email@example.com and must be received within the indicated cancellation periods. All requests for reimbursement must be written by the applicant or holder of the bank account / Paypal account. Reimbursement requests must include the name of the applicant and / or the transaction number. Refunds will be made back to the bank account or original Paypal used for payment
Code of conduct
We reserve the right to cancel the training if the delegate does not comply with the Code of Conduct that will be issued when booking the training course.
Intellectual Property Rights
Part of the content, design, data and information of our teaching materials are protected by national and international copyright laws. You agree not to adapt, alter or create any work derived from any of the materials contained in the materials, or use the material for any purpose other than your personal and non-commercial use.
None of the contents of the Medical Aesthetics Academy materials and the brochures may be copied, incorporated or stored in any other website, electronic retrieval system, publication, or any other work in any form (whether printed, electronic or otherwise). To avoid doubt, the copying of these materials or any part of them is not allowed without our express written permission.
Permission for the use of our intellectual property
Any request for permission to use our images or other use of our intellectual property not authorized by these Terms and Conditions should be made to firstname.lastname@example.org
The trademarks and logos that appear in our learning materials are trademarks of Medical Aesthetics Academy or its partners. Any use of the trademarks of Medical Aesthetics Academy or other trademarks displayed on our learning materials is strictly prohibited without our express written consent.
Personal data and privacy
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any direct or indirect or consequential loss (including loss of profits, income, anticipated savings or wasted expenses) other than when your reservation can not be fulfilled, after the conclusion of a binding contract and in which case Medical Aesthetics Academy will be responsible only for the fees paid for the reservation.
Events beyond our reasonable control
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for any delay or failure to comply with our obligations under these conditions if such delay or failure occurs for any cause beyond our reasonable control, including reasons of Force Majeure. This provision does not affect your statutory rights.
Alteration of Service or Modification of Conditions
Medical Aesthetics Academy reserves the right to make changes to our learning materials, policies and terms and conditions at any time. The applicant will be subject to the terms and conditions of the current policy from the moment of making the reservation. If any of these conditions are considered invalid, void or unenforceable, said condition will be considered separable and will not affect the validity and enforceability of any other condition.
Our learning materials, and all the information contained in them, are provided “as is” and are intended for medical professionals. It is provided without warranty of any kind, express or implied.
We rely on academic and industry sources to confirm the accuracy of the information presented and therefore Medical Aesthetics Academy cannot guarantee its accuracy. Delegates should be aware that professionals in the field may have different opinions. Due to this fact and also due to regular advances in medical research, we strongly recommend that readers independently verify the facts. Ultimately, it is the responsibility of the delegates to make their own professional judgments. The description or reference to a product or publication does not imply endorsement of that product or publication, unless it is owned by Medical Aesthetics Academy and in which case it is subject to the relevant disclaimers of liability.
Medical Aesthetics Academy and its staff will not be responsible for loss, injury or damage caused to any person or property (including under contract, negligence, product liability or otherwise), whether direct or indirect, special, incidental or consequential, resulting of the application of the information given during the training.
The training courses taught by Medical Aesthetics Academy are private. The certificate issued on the day of the training does not exempt the doctor or dentist from continuing to practice and train, in order to obtain further clinical experience and knowledge, and to keep up to date professionally.
Photographs and filming
Medical Aesthetics Academy does not authorize photography or recording of training sessions except with prior written authorization. Therefore, the dissemination of the content of the training workshops is forbidden, partially or in full to the Internet, social networks, or any other known or unknown means without the consent of the interested parties.
The Mentoring service is offered only to delegates who have completed our courses in botulinum toxin and dermal fillers. In order to access the service, it is essential to make the payment in advance for the chosen periods (3, 6, or 12 months). Access to the service will start from the date of receipt of the payment and will end after 3, 6 or 12 months, respectively. Once the contracted period of time has passed, the services will no longer be accessible. Medical Aesthetics Academy does not accept any liability or responsibility from the actions of the delegate receiving the service, as this is entirely the delegate’s responsibility as a medical practitioner.
If these conditions are breached and we do not take any action, we still have the right to use our rights and resources in the future and in those that continue to violate these conditions.
