Q – DO YOU OFFER HANDS-ON TRAINING?
A – Yes! That is the main feature of all our presential courses: at Medical Aesthetics Academy, you will have the opportunity to practise with live patients under direct supervision of Aesthetic Medicine experts. Each delegate will individually perform and complete the treatment or treatments that is being trained on, allowing enough time to not feel rushed and to gain confidence in his/her own skills.
Q – IS THE TRAINING OFFERED BY MEDICAL AESTHETICS ACADEMY ACCREDITED?
A – Yes. Medical Aesthetics Academy is a registered Continuing Professional Development (CPD) provider of specialized training in Aesthetic Medicine, with presential and online courses taught in English and Spanish languages. Furthermore, many of our specialized courses are accredited by prestigious European universities, such as the University of Vitoria-Gasteiz, the Atlantic Mediterranean Technological University, and the European University Miguel de Cervantes.
Q – WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE UNIVERSITY TRAINING OFFERED BY MEDICAL AESTHETICS ACADEMY AND ITS OWN TRAINING PROGRAMMES?
A – Both modalities contain the highest level of scientific and academic content. Choosing university training or our own courses depends on your personal preferences and needs. With us, you can receive proprietary training from Medical Aesthetics Academy or, if you prefer, a university certification. Medical Aesthetics Academy is run by physicians who literally earn their living practicing Aesthetic Medicine. Therefore, both our university courses and our own training programmes are frequently updated to reflect the latest developments in the field, focusing on the job market and excellence in private clinical practice. Q – IS THERE AN OFFICIAL QUALIFICATION THAT ENABLES ME TO PRACTICE AESTHETIC MEDICINE?
A – The answer is no. Aesthetic Medicine does not exist as an official medical speciality anywhere in the world. Therefore, neither master’s degrees nor university courses, nor private qualifications grant an official specialty. Since there is no specific legal framework for Aesthetic Medicine, the situation can be confusing. The law of each country or state determines which professionals can legally practice Aesthetic Medicine, therefore we advise you to contact your professional college/association or local health authority for up-to-date information. Medical Aesthetics Academy offers you the specific knowledge and skills needed to earn a living practising Aesthetic Medicine, at reasonable prices.
