Access to Training Courses

Medical Aesthetics Academy’s presential courses are available exclusively to licensed physicians and dentists who have obtained their degrees from officially recognized universities.

Access to all training courses provided by Medical Aesthetics Academy is granted to the individual whose details were entered when requesting the reservation. When booking for others, the applicant’s details must be entered during the registration process. The applicant accepts responsibility for all activities that occur under a reservation made in their name.

Requesting a Place for Presential Courses

We reserve the right to reject the request if the applicant’s professional and/or personal registration details are not verified by Medical Aesthetics Academy. The applicant will be entitled to a full refund, less a €45 administration fee.

Booking Conditions for Presential Courses

To confirm your place, advance payment of the total price of the requested training course(s) is required. Payments must be made by bank transfer. Your reservation will not be effective until payment has been received in the Medical Aesthetics Academy bank account.

Note: Students are advised to wait for confirmation of their place before making any reservations for transportation, accommodation, etc. Medical Aesthetics Academy reserves the right to cancel training activities or change their dates due to insufficient enrollment (no less than fifteen days before the scheduled date) or due to unforeseen circumstances (at any time). In these cases, Medical Aesthetics Academy will refund the registration fee in full.

Prices

The prices of presential courses are subject to 21% VAT, so this percentage must be added to the price of each course.

Certificates for University Courses with ECTS Credits

The certificate for each online or presential university course offered by Medical Aesthetics Academy must be requested directly by the student from the corresponding university once the course has been completed and passed. The student must place the order and pay the certificate issuance fees directly to the University.

Online Courses

Medical Aesthetics Academy’s online courses are available to physicians, dentists, and other healthcare professionals, provided they are legally authorized to practice Aesthetic Medicine in their country or state.

Access Requirements for Online Courses

To access our online courses, advance payment of the total price of the requested course(s) is required. Payments must be made via PayPal. The reservation will not be effective until payment has been received in Medical Aesthetics Academy’s bank account. If the course(s) are accessed without payment, Medical Aesthetics Academy will demand, in addition to payment for the courses, compensation for unauthorized use of up to €5,000.

Cancellations and Refunds for Presential Courses
(A) Cancellation of Booking by Medical Aesthetics Academy

Medical Aesthetics Academy reserves the right to cancel a training course due to low enrollment or other circumstances that would render the course unfeasible.

In the event that Medical Aesthetics Academy cancels a training course, a full refund will be offered to registered participants.

If circumstances arise that result in the postponement of a training course, Medical Aesthetics Academy will have the right to offer a full refund or transfer the booking for the same training course to a new future date.

(B) Cancellation of Booking by the Student

Unless specifically stated in the booking information, the deadline for receiving a full refund of the booking fee is 40 business days before the training course date. Cancellations received before this deadline will be eligible for a full refund, less a €35 service fee.

Cancellations received after the deadline but 20 business days before the training course date will be eligible for a 50% refund.

Cancellations received within 20 business days but more than 10 business days before the training course date will be eligible for a 25% refund.

Registration cancellations received within 10 days of the training course date will not be eligible for a refund.

No refund will be offered to registrants who do not cancel and do not attend the scheduled training course.

Cancellations will only be accepted in writing to info@medicalaestheticsacademy.com and must be received within the stated cancellation period. All refund requests must be written by the applicant or the bank account holder. Refund requests must include the applicant’s name and/or the transaction number. Refunds will be issued to the original bank account used for payment.

Cancellations and Refunds for Online Courses

According to Medical Aesthetics Academy’s intellectual property protection policy, once payment for one or more courses has been made, they are non-refundable under any circumstances.

Model Patients for hands-on Practice

Each student will provide their own model patient for hands-on practice, under the supervision of a Medical Aesthetics Academy instructor.

Code of Conduct

We reserve the right to cancel training if the student does not comply with the Code of Conduct, which will be provided upon registration for the training course.

Intellectual Property Rights

The content, design, data, and information in our teaching materials are protected by national and international copyright laws. You agree not to adapt, alter, or create any derivative works from any of the materials contained herein, or use the material for any purpose other than your personal, non-commercial use.

None of the content of the Medical Aesthetics Academy materials and brochures may be copied, incorporated, or stored on any other website, electronic retrieval system, publication, or any other work in any form (whether printed, electronic, or otherwise). For the avoidance of doubt, framing these materials or any part thereof is not permitted without our express written permission.

Permission to Use Our Intellectual Property: Any request for permission to use our images or other use of our intellectual property not authorized by these Terms and Conditions should be sent to info@medicalaestheticsacademy.com.

Trademarks

The trademarks and logos appearing in our learning materials are trademarks of Medical Aesthetics Academy or its partners. Any use of Medical Aesthetics Academy trademarks or other trademarks displayed in our learning materials is strictly prohibited without our express written consent.

Personal Data and Privacy

The use of data you provide to us or that is collected through our booking systems is governed by our Privacy Policy.

Losses

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential losses (including loss of profits, revenue, anticipated savings, or wasted expenses) except when your booking cannot be fulfilled after the conclusion of a binding contract, in which case Medical Aesthetics Academy will only be liable for the booking fees paid.

Events Beyond Our Reasonable Control

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any delay or failure to perform our obligations under these terms and conditions if such delay or failure is caused by any event beyond our reasonable control, including force majeure. This provision does not affect your statutory rights.

Service Alteration or Modification of Conditions
Medical Aesthetics Academy reserves the right to make changes to our learning materials, policies, and terms and conditions at any time. The applicant will be subject to the terms and conditions in effect at the time of booking. If any of these conditions are deemed invalid, void, or unenforceable, that condition will be considered severable and will not affect the validity and enforceability of any other condition.

Training Courses

The training courses offered by Medical Aesthetics Academy are private and designed to promote the specialization of medical professionals in the field of aesthetic medicine. The certificate issued on the day of training does not exempt the trained professional from continuing to practice to gain further clinical experience.

Professional and Legal Competencies

Medical Aesthetics Academy does not offer, nor is it authorized to provide, legal advice regarding the professional activities of its students. Each medical professional should consult their Official College of Physicians for advice and to stay up-to-date on their professional competencies.

Products and Medications

Regarding obtaining prescription products and medications for the practice of aesthetic medicine, the responsibility lies exclusively with the medical professional interested in this specialty. Medical Aesthetics Academy will not provide students with products or medications for their future practice, except for those used during the practical component of the in-person courses.

Mentoring

The Mentoring service is offered exclusively to Medical Aesthetics Academy students who have completed courses in botulinum toxin injection techniques, dermal fillers, mesotherapy, and/or intralipotherapy. To access the service, prepayment for the chosen period (3, 6, or 12 months) is required. Access to the service will begin upon receipt of payment and will end after 3, 6, or 12 months, respectively. Once the contracted period has expired, the services will no longer be available.

Additional Supervised Hands-on Practice

Additional practice sessions will be arranged with the tutor in charge of the Mentoring service. Students will be responsible for providing the model patients, products, and medications to be used during the practice sessions. Medical Aesthetics Academy will provide the consumables, facilities, and personalized direct supervision services. Typically, a half-hour period is allocated per model patient/treatment to be practiced. The price of a practical session is €300 per model patient/treatment to be practiced, which must be paid in advance to reserve the session. Practical sessions can be 4 hours long (up to 8 patients per session) or 8 hours long (up to 16 patients per session). Once the reservation has been made, a date convenient for the tutor and students will be agreed upon. The scheduled date cannot be changed, except in cases of force majeure and/or with prior agreement between the tutor and students. The availability of dates for additional practical sessions is not guaranteed and is subject to the Medical Aesthetics Academy course schedule.

Photography and Filming

Medical Aesthetics Academy does not authorize the photography or recording of training sessions without prior written authorization. Therefore, the dissemination of the content of the training workshops, in whole or in part, on the Internet, social media, or any other known or unknown medium is prohibited without the consent of the participants.

Copying Online Content

Medical Aesthetics Academy does not authorize the copying of any of its online training content. Therefore, the distribution of online course content, in whole or in part, via the internet, social media, or any other means, known or unknown, is prohibited without the consent of Medical Aesthetics Academy.

Warning

If these conditions are breached and we take no action, we still reserve the right to exercise our rights and remedies in the future and for any continued breach of these conditions.

Availability

Unless otherwise stated, the in-person training services offered on this website are only available in Spain, except for the online training, which is offered globally. You are solely responsible for evaluating the suitability for a particular purpose of any downloads, programs, and text available through this site. Redistribution or republication of any part of this site or its content, including framed or otherwise, is prohibited without the express written consent of Medical Aesthetics Academy. Medical Aesthetics Academy does not guarantee that the service on this site will be uninterrupted, timely, or error-free, although it will attempt to do so to the best of its ability.
